How to attend events if I am a member?

  • It is much more affordable to be a member than purchasing monthly event tickets. Monthly event tickets cost much higher than the monthly membership fee.

    NREIC+ & NREIC VIP members have direct access to all event recordings and event tangibles even if they fail to attend the event.

    All events whether in-person or online are inclusive when you are an NREIC+ & VIP member.

  • NO! All events are included in NREIC+ and NREIC VIP memberships.

  • All members will get a one-time save the date email that contains the event details so members can add them to their calendar.

    Members need to RSVP if they will be attending the event. Simply click the RSVP button in your member portal and it will re-direct you to the Eventbrite RSVP page.

  • Yes! All NREIC+ and VIP members can access the event recordings and event tangibles when they login to their NREIC account (https://www.nreic.ca/account/login)

    Event recordings and tangibles are only sent via email to NREIC members who purchased monthly tickets but not to NREIC+ & VIP.

  • Yes. You need to RSVP if you will attend the event and your name will be included in the attendee list.

  • NREIC+ and VIP are for individual memberships only and do not apply to business/corporate.

    If you are a company owner, you can purchase individual memberships for yourself and each of your employees.

How to pay/cancel my membership?

  • You can pay your membership subscription using your credit card.

    Once your application is approved and you have created an account on the www.nreic.ca website, you will receive an email that contains the link for you to make a payment.

  • No. Your monthly subscription will be automatically renewed. If your card gets declined, your membership subscription will be cancelled automatically.

  • Yes! Please coordinate with the NREIC Community manager regarding this request.

  • Yes! You can cancel anytime you like but keep in mind that you will undergo the membership application process once again if you wish to be a member again.

  • You have 5 days to update your credit card or any billing information in your member’s portal. After 5 days, NREIC will re-run the payment for the membership renewal and if the payment fails the 2nd time, NREIC will then deactivate your subscription and all access will be lost.

  • You will automatically receive an invoice and a receipt to your registered email address if you sign-up for a membership or if a membership subscription has been renewed.

    The NREIC team will also be sending the monthly/yearly invoices in PDF format to your registered email address every time a membership subscription is renewed or if a new subscription is availed.

  • Log in to your membership portal www.nreic.ca/login > click on Account > Payment.

    Click on the existing payment method > click Delete

    Click the arrow back, then click on Add New Payment Method

    Enter NEW billing information and payment details

    Click on Save

  • Your membership subscription is automatically renewed. NREIC will automatically charge your credit card saved in your Billing section in the NREIC members portal.

    Two failed attempts will result in membership cancellation. You will have three-five days to update your billing and payment details after the 1st failed attempt. The system will automatically rerun the auto-renewal charge three days after the first attempt and another two days after the second.

    If you are not aware of when your renewal date is, contact the NREIC Community manager or send an email to hello@nreic.ca.

NREIC Events FAQ’s

NREIC Open

  • Every month, NREIC announces monthly events on the FB group page and in the NREIC IG account @nreic.

    Monthly events are also visible on the events page in the website www.nrec.ca/events and in the NREIC linktr.ee account linktr.ee/nreic_

    You can simply click on the links in any event announcements in any NREIC social media sites, NREIC website and lintr.ee account and it will redirect you to the Eventbrite link where you can purchase your ticket.

    Please take note that some of NREIC events have limited capacity and NREIC+ and VIP members are prioritized. Check out NREIC+ and VIP memberships.

  • You can simply click on the links in any event announcements in any NREIC social media sites, NREIC website (www.nreic.ca/events) and lintr.ee account (linktr.ee/nreic_) and it will redirect you to the Eventbrite link where you can purchase your ticket.

  • Event recordings are being sent via email 1-2 days after the event.

    Please take note of the email address you used when you purchased your ticket/s in Eventbrite as this is where we will send the event recording.

  • Yes, you can! You can purchase the ticket before the event and the event recording will automatically be sent to the email address you used when you purchased the ticket.

    You can also purchase the event recording even after the event. Send an email request to hello@nreic.ca and we will let you know the price and how to proceed with payment.

  • Yes! Send an email request to hello@nreic.ca and indicate which recording you want to purchase. We will let you know the price and how to proceed with payment.

  • Send an email request to hello@nreic.ca and indicate the event topic you wish to purchase. Our community manager will let you know the ticket price and how to make payment.

    Payment for event recording purchases is via e-transfer to hello@nreic.ca. Please let us know via email (email request thread) the e-transfer password of your payment transaction.

    Once payment and password are received/confirmed, we will send you the event recording within the day.

  • Yes! Just send an email request to hello@nreic.ca or coordinate with our community manager - Kate and we will be sending you again the event recording.

  • Online event ticket cost is $75 excluding GST.

  • In-person event ticket cost varies. Always check Eventbrite for the current event ticket price.

  • Yes! However, he/she needs to be an NREIC member, either NREIC Open or NREIC +. And, he/she needs to purchase a ticket as well if under NREIC Open.

    If you are bringing a friend or relative that is NOT in real estate and you just need to have a companion or for whatever reason, please confirm with Dakotah Charron or Kate. Once approved, he/she needs to have her own ticket as well.

  • Event recording price varies depending on which event recording topic you will purchase. Once you send us an email request, our community manager will let you know the price.

    Event recordings starting from January 2022 events will cost $75 excluding GST.

NREIC+ / VIP

  • Both NREIC+ and VIP members will receive a Save the Date email so members can add the event date to their calendar.

    NREIC+ and VIP members SHOULD RSVP for monthly events to have their names included in the attendee list. DO NOT fail to RSVP if you will be attending.

    For online events, a permanent Virbela team suite password will be provided. You will use the same password on every online event. If a membership subscription is cancelled your access will be deactivated.

  • NREIC+/VIP members should RSVP whether the monthly event will be online or in-person.

    On the Save the Date email that NREIC+/VIP members will receive, click on the RSVP button and it will redirect you to the Eventbrite ticket page.

    In Eventbrite, simply click RSVP and enter your details. We will double-check if you have an active membership subscription and will include your name in the attendee list once confirmed.

    It’s that easy!

  • All NREIC+ and VIP members will have access to the event recording and tangibles by logging in to their NREIC account portal > Resources Page.

    The resources page has several categories. Depending on the event title, the event recording will be accessible/saved under the category the event title/topic falls into.

  • Yes! You can access it in your NREIC account portal > Resources page.

  • Yes! Once you become an NREIC+ and VIP member, you will have access to ALL event recordings, even the past ones.

  • The NREIC team will check every name who RSVP'd. If we see that you don't have an active NREIC+ or VIP membership subscription, we will connect with you and let you know.

    It is up to you if you would like to get a membership subscription or just purchase an event ticket. Your name will be included either way.

    If you decide not to push thru to either option, your name will NOT be included in the list.

  • Event recordings and tangibles will be available/accessible 1-2 days after the event.

NREIC VIP

  • You’ll gain access to an exclusive vault of original digital content, including previous event recordings, exclusive interviews and on-demand video training sessions, resources and referral partner lists.

  • VIP Members receive special priority access to everything — opportunity/deal flow, referrals, sponsorship opportunities and event seats. Most opportunities may never reach non-members.

  • You’ll unlock 24/7 access to our own NREIC Virtual World campus, where you can engage with other members, join live events and even host your own meetings.

  • Private VIP areas at events (virtual & in-person).

  • VIP events are typically invite-only or require approval by the host to attend. This helps guarantee that the right people are in the room for a personalized and unforgettable VIP experience.
