Introducing WISE: Women in Real Estate — A Place for Women to Lead with Strength, Grace, and Wisdom
At NREIC, we believe in strong values — hard work, family, integrity, and community. Real estate, like many industries, has long been dominated by men. Yet more and more women are stepping forward, leading with vision, strategy, and steady hands that shape businesses, families, and futures.
This is why we’re proud to announce the launch of WISE: Women in Real Estate, a new initiative within NREIC created by women, for women — to provide a place of connection, encouragement, and leadership rooted in traditional values and real-world experience.
A Vision Born from Our Own Members
WISE began naturally. Our Events Manager — a respected leader within NREIC — had a vision to bring women together. She saw how many of our female members shared the same desire: to have a place where women could grow in confidence, connect with one another, and take part in an industry that has often felt closed off or intimidating.
Rather than simply talking about change, we listened — and acted.
WISE was created to offer a genuine community for women who want to learn, invest, and grow while staying true to their values and principles.
Built on Partnership, Not Division
While WISE is a space exclusively for women, it stands firmly on the belief that men and women are at their best when they work together — each bringing unique strengths to the table.
As one of our members shared during the early conversations that shaped this vision:
“In our renovation business, the women handle the administration, business development, deal closing, and stakeholder management — while the men oversee the trades and technical execution. Together, it works beautifully. We complement one another’s strengths.”
This balance of professionalism and partnership is what WISE seeks to encourage — women leading confidently and capably, while honoring collaboration and respect within the broader NREIC community.
